Me and a pal are working on an adoptable species, because that looks like a neato thing to do UuU this is a lil pixel preview I guess?
They’re very large and primarily carnivorous, but also relatively docile as far as dangerous wild animals go. They got their name from originally being used as circus animals (because of their eye-catching skin and good nature), and now they are hugely popular in the exotic pet trade despite their.overpowering musk.
Adoptable-wise, they will show variation in the keratinous horns on their hind legs/tail/back, the pincers on the end of their tails (including bobtail gene), their ears, decorative jowls, scent glands, and nosies. I am godawful w/ colouring so I am fobbing those duties off but rest assured they will be very hella!!
Have some Fandom pumpkins and have a happy halloween!

Drawings by Joe Weatherly
Joe Weatherly is a Southern California based artist specializing in the drawing and painting of animals. His style is bold and vigorous capturing the essence and drama of the subjects he draws and paints. The attitude and expression of the animal’s character along with telling a visual story is what his work conveys. Conservation of the natural world is something Joe is very passionate about and hopes his work will motivate people to protect it and promote its survival.

It’s nice to be home for the summer because I have access to all my art books!! These are two I uncovered tidying my closet. It’s the precious baby unicorn of my library…a double book set of Charles Dana Gibson’s illustrations and drawings, printed in 1906.
Gibson was an illustrator prolific especially during the Edwardian era. He had a great sense of humor and amazing line quality. He was famous for creating the Gibson Girl, an idealized 1910s pinup girl whose hair is way better than mine.
I’d take these books with me everywhere except they’re two feet long..
